3+ hours of FUN!!!

It’s a scavenger hunt like you’ve never experienced before! Includes morning snack and coffee, magnetic number for team car, trophies, door prize raffle, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. Option to buy lunch and adult beverages at the finish location.

Registration

  • $50 per team. No limit on the number of team members, but all members must fit safely into one car and use that single car throughout the event.

The Details

Teams will check in at our starting location, The Edge of Town Tavern in Plymouth, NH, between 8 and 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

Starting mileage for each team car will be recorded. Teams will proceed into The Edge of Town Tavern, where they will complete the registration process, signing waivers, receiving their competition document, name tags, and magnetic car numbers.

Once registered, teams may relax and enjoy coffee and baked goods until the team meeting.

At 9 a.m. sharp, all teams will gather to hear instructions. At 9:15, teams will begin leaving, one each minute. Teams will follow written, numbered driving instructions to complete an easy driving route through the CNHCC service area.

Along the way, teams will answer puzzle-like questions about things they observe between each numbered instruction, recording their responses in the competition document. They will also look for 8-10 photos included in the competition document and record the last driving instruction they have completed before they see the item in each photo. Finally, teams will stop at 8-10 member businesses and receive a pre-determined scavenger hunt item that they must present at the end of the course.

When teams reach the finish line, their mileage will be recorded on the cover sheet of their competition document. They’ll proceed to a check-in table where their scavenger hunt items are checked and recorded and their competition sheet is taken for scoring.

All teams must complete the course by 1 p.m. From 1-1:30 p.m., teams may mingle and enjoy refreshments while scoring is completed.

The awards ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. with remarks from CNHCC and our Presenting Sponsor Meredith Village Savings Bank.

The team with the highest score based on correct answers to puzzle questions, photos found and recorded with the correct instruction number, and number of scavenger hunt items retrieved from member businesses, will be the winner.

Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. After the awards ceremony, the event will conclude with a door prize drawing for items donated by member businesses.
