You’re invited to a fundraising dinner on Saturday, August 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Covered Bridge No. 71, East Side Road, Wentworth, NH. Tickets are $25.00 per person.
The event is sponsored by the Wentworth Veterans Memorial and catered by Smokin’ Bear BBQ, with a dessert bake sale offered by the Wentworth Historical Society.

The Wentworth Veterans Memorial is a grassroots organization of veterans who have ties to the Town of Wentworth. The Wentworth Veterans Memorial monument, located on the grounds of the Wentworth Historical Society on East Side Road, commemorates all those who have served in the military to defend our nation. The monument is made of local granite boulders engraved with each conflict the nation has engaged in and arranged in a V formation opening to a flagpole. The Wentworth Veterans Memorial is currently raising funds to create a walkway thru the monument, connecting to the Historical Society and the covered bridge, made of custom engraved pavers for all veterans and family to purchase.
