Back for its Fifth Anniversary of Horrors, NCCA Jean’s Playhouse transforms into an immersive haunted experience unlike any traditional haunted house! GHOST LIGHT sends brave guests on a guided journey through the darkened theatre, where restless spirits, eerie legends, hidden passageways, and the mysterious White Mountain Crone are known to lurk. Travel backstage, across a treacherous abandoned auditorium, through haunted dressing rooms and winding mazes, and into the darkness beyond the theatre walls—but beware: once the Ghost Light goes out, there’s no telling what might be waiting for you.
GHOST LIGHT runs weekends October 9–31 at NCCA Jean’s Playhouse in Lincoln, NH. Reservations recommended!

Start your morning with coffee, conversation, and a taste of something sweet at our October Coffee with CNHCC, co-hosted by Cottage Place on Squam Lake and Sugared!
Join us Tuesday, October 20, from 7–9 a.m. at Cottage Place on Squam Lake for a relaxed morning of networking with members of the Central New Hampshire business and nonprofit community. Members and non-members are welcome to stop by, make new connections, catch up with familiar faces, and learn more about our hosts.
Cottage Place on Squam Lake has welcomed guests to the shores of Squam Lake for generations. Today, it is evolving into a relaxed lakeside vacation-rental community that combines the privacy and flexibility of a vacation rental with the charm of a classic Squam Lake retreat. It’s a place designed for slowing down, enjoying the outdoors, and making lasting memories in one of New Hampshire’s most beautiful settings.
Sugared is a New Hampshire home bakery specializing in small-batch, handcrafted sweets and baked goods. With a focus on nostalgic flavors, thoughtful presentation, and plenty of variety, Sugared creates treats for everything from everyday indulgences to gatherings, celebrations, and special occasions.
Guests will enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and a light breakfast provided by our hosts. Cottage Place will be brewing fresh coffee and serving bagels, while Sugared will bring a selection of freshly baked treats, which may include scones, cinnamon rolls, pastry puffs, cookies, and more.
Come early, grab a cup of coffee and something delicious, and spend the morning connecting with the CNHCC community. We hope to see you there!

Calling all New Hampshire residents!
New Hampshire residents receive special $10 trail admission (regular rates: $30/adults, $28/seniors, $24/youth), offering an accessible opportunity to explore the natural world close to home.
New Hampshire Day is a way for the Science Center to give back to the community, helping Granite Staters connect with native wildlife, learn about local ecology, and create lasting memories with family and friends.
This special day is made possible through the generous support of Dead River Company, Path Vacations, and the New Hampshire Electric Cooperative Foundation (NHEC).
In addition to its sponsorship, NHEC is covering admission fees for its members. NHEC members must show a copy of their electric bill at admissions to receive free entry.
All New Hampshire Day tickets are for one-hour entry blocks and must be purchased in advance. Bring proof of NH residency and plan for a fun-filled experience, including Up Close to Animals presentations at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. Last trail admission is during the 2:30–3:30 p.m. window.
Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to meet live animals, connect with nature, and be a part of a community that cares about conservation and education.
Tickets on sale in late September.

This is an outside-only event; appropriate seasonal clothing and footwear are recommended.
